The Kris Van Assche 2009 fall/winter footwear collection gets a prominent look here as we take a look into this season’s offerings. Throughout the five-strong release, some consistent mini-themes are present including a diagonal zipper theme over boots and a roll-down cuff style in both boot and sneaker form. While these aforementioned four styles are largely black-dominant in their colors, a lone white footwear style includes the five-strap Nappa High sneaker. The collection is available now at SSENSE.

Well known for his fiery-red soles, these pairs are no different, and the solo sneaker style, the Louis, returns for Spring/Summer 2010 completely studded out. Available in black or white leather, with a retail price of around $1200 USD a pair.

Converse looks towards New York-based label united bamboo for another contribution into its 1HUND(RED) Artist Series program. The shoes are offered as a Chuck Taylor but they’ve been changed around so much that they hardly resemble what would be considered a classic Chuck Taylor silhouette. A bit sleeker than other interpretations, this united bamboo design features a quilted upper with hidden laceloops, White tonal colorway and Red highlights.
